Cornwall is one of the most popular tourist towns in England. With fantastic surfing and award winning beaches it is no surprise. If you are staying in Cornwall why not choose a hostel rather than a hotel, which can be very expensive in peak season. These our a few of our favourite things to do in Cornwall with the money you save!

Minack Theatre

An outdoor theatre situated right on the cliffs at Porthcumo, it is a magical setting. The theatre puts on plays and musicals from May to September. Even if theatre is not your favourite pastime if you are able to get a ticket to a show here it will be nothing less than a magical experience.

Tintagel Castle

If the Arthurian legend fascinates you in any way then this 13th century castle is a must see if you are in the Cornwall area. The Castle is set atop a hill and has a fantastic view of the ocean as well as scenic surroundings; the setting adds to the legend of Arthur and gets your imagination running wild.

Museum of Witchcraft

The museum is one of Cornwall’s most popular tourist destinations and has people returning often. It has the world’s largest collection of witchcraft connected artefacts and regalia. The museum not lets you view witchcraft relics but it also provides extensive descriptions and information on each of the items as well as some of the practices used by witches. Although the name suggests it this is a lot more than just a museum it is a look into one of the world’s most mysterious and fascinating practices.
