Russel-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum
A museum of international status with a fantastic collection of artefacts from the Victorian era; the museum has a combination of permanent and temporary exhibitions of both art and sculpture, mainly from the 1800s and early 1900s. They have numerous treasures from all around the world including famous paintings collected by the keen art collecting Russel-Cotes family.
Bournemouth Beach
Bournemouth was blessed with 7 miles of award winning white sandy beaches so when the sun is shining this is a fantastic spot to take a bucket and spade and just relax! The beach is fantastic for walks from pier to pier and also offers water sports and beach bunkers for anyone.
Oceanarium
A fantastic aquarium that gives you the opportunity to explore marine life from all around the world. The aquarium also offers one the chance to take a more interactive tour of the underwater world with the world’s first interactive Dive Cage; this allows you to take a virtual tour with dolphins, great white sharks and many others without getting wet!
Laser Quest Bournemouth
If you are a Laser tag junkie you will be happy to know that Bournemouth has an extensive laser tag area on offer which has been highly recommended all who go there.
The Bournemouth Balloon
Not many places offer a chance to be taken up in a hot air balloon for a view to kill. The Bournemouth balloon takes visitors 500 feet into the air in a tethered Hot Air Balloon with view of the English Channel and Dorset countryside.
The Tank Museum
A museum is completely dedicated to telling the story of the tank. Home to the world’s largest and finest collection of Armoured Fighting Vehicles, the Museum has a collection of almost 300 vehicles from over 26 countries from World War 1 right up to the present day.
